Become a Member of Durham City Golf Club

Durham City has an active membership of more than 600. Our men's, ladies, senior's and junior sections offer a full competition fixtures schedule aimed at players of all standards. We also run several friendly events throughout the year and social events are included within the calendar.

Community Membership - Terms and Conditions

  • Annual fixed price cost of £575.00 per year.
  • Membership costs of England Golf Union will be included. The membership cost will also include personal liability and personal accident insurance.
  • This membership will be available to the general public and will be advertised publicly on the golf club’s website and on the golf club’s premises.
  • Cost pa £575. This is based on approx £12 per week (The affordable amount) . These members will be able to play a round of golf on 3 weekdays and on both a Saturday and a Sunday after 3.30pm when course is available. Community Members will be able to play in all mid-week competitions with the aim of obtaining and maintaining a handicap.
  • Is means tested and evidence of total income needs to be produced (in - - - -) Inland Revenue guidelines was £- - - - p.a)
  • Membership will carry full voting rights
  • Access to the course will only be granted as with all classes of membership, when it is available.
